The Atlanta Hawks medical team dropped their total games lost to injury or illness for the third straight season, finishing below 100 games lost for the first time since the 2015-16 season. Led by Director of Athletic Training Scottie Parker, the group was also one of seven NBA teams to finish in the top ten for fewest total games, minutes per game, and salary lost to injury. Unlike last year when Bojan Bogdanovic was recovering from offseason knee surgery, the Hawks enter the regular season healthy and ready to return to the postseason. The group expanded in the offseason, giving the unit additional reinforcements that could help reduce games lost.
